shopping adventures

I drove into town the other day to pick up a few groceries, and while I was there, I decided to do a little exploring. There's a shop across from the Co-op called "Health Centre". The building looks like it has seen better days, but I'd been told by someone that she used to be able to get cold patches there to help with whatever ailment, and that generally it was a good little store. So I thought I'd check it out, thinking that maybe, just maybe in this tiny town I might be able to find some natural remedy type things. What I found could perhaps be called natural remedies, but not in the form I was expecting: the store that once was a pharmacy is now divided in half: one half selling toiletries and first aid supplies, the other selling liquor. This doesn't seem to be the most logical of combinations to me, but I suppose depending how much of the latter one consumes, the former could be needed? Oh the quirks of small towns.
